The Kirloskar Vasundhara International Film Festival (KVIFF), a unique Indian festival showcasing films, expert discussions, and related activities focused on environmental issues such as wildlife, energy, air, and water, was screened for B.Sc. I, II, and III-year students at the Department of Botany.
During the screening, students were introduced to the festival itself, its organizers, and their collaborative efforts with the college. A series of films were projected, delving into critical environmental topics such as wetland conservation, permaculture, and sustainable food systems for the future. To further encourage engagement, an online link to the festival was shared with students for their independent viewing and exploration.
