Mr. Sujit B. Patil is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany with over two years of teaching experience. He holds an M.Sc. in Botany and has qualified the CSIR-UGC NET-JRF and SET examinations. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. at Shivaji University, Kolhapur with research focused on Plant Taxonomy and Biodiversity Conservation. His academic contributions include the publication of nine research papers in reputed national and international peer-reviewed journals and the authorship of a practical handbook in Botany. He has also discovered two new plant species, demonstrating his significant contribution to plant taxonomy and biodiversity research. His teaching and research interests include Plant Taxonomy, Biodiversity Conservation, Systematics and Floristic Studies.
